ezpzfile MCP server
by ezpzfile
Lets your AI read and convert documents, edit PDFs, clean up images, and make QR codes, all on your own computer.

This is a small helper that gives your AI a set of file tools. It can pull text out of documents, change file formats, tidy up PDFs and pictures, and make QR codes. It is handy if you deal with lots of paperwork, scans, or images and want your AI to handle the boring parts for you.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. It cannot open a file on your computer or change a picture. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill, and this one gives it file skills. When you ask your AI to read a PDF or resize an image, it quietly passes the job to this helper, which does the work on your machine and hands the result back to the chat.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like read this report or shrink this photo. Your AI passes that request to this helper running on your computer. The helper opens the file, does the job, and sends the result back. Then your AI shows it to you in the chat, as text, a summary, or a new file. Nothing is uploaded anywhere; everything stays on your machine.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Read text and tables out of DOCX, PDF, HWP, HWPX, and EML files
- Convert documents to PDF, PDF pages to images, and spreadsheets to CSV or JSON
- Merge, split, rotate, reorder, compress, protect, or unlock PDFs
- Check a PDF's page count, page sizes, encryption, and metadata
- Resize, compress, and convert images, and strip location and camera data
- Cut out the background of a photo
- Turn a link or some text into a QR code image
Try asking your AI
- “Read this PDF and give me the text of page 3”
- “Merge these three PDFs into one file”
- “Resize this photo to 800 pixels wide and remove the location data”
- “Make a QR code for https://example.com as a PNG”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in the chat: the text of a document, a table turned into rows, a page count, or a short summary. For jobs that make a file, like a merged PDF, a resized image, or a QR code, you get a new file back that you can save or open. For edits, you get a short confirmation of what changed. It never shows you the whole file unless you ask for it.
