Graph-MIND memory server
Give your AI a shared memory on your own PC so it remembers past chats across apps and models.
Graph-MIND is a memory helper that runs on your own computer. It quietly saves what you and your AI say to each other, then hands the right bits back when a new question needs them. It is handy if you use more than one AI app or model and are tired of repeating yourself.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat about what is in front of it, and it forgets everything when the session ends. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to something. This one connects your AI to a memory stored on your own PC. When you ask about something from before, the AI asks this helper, and the helper finds the old turns that answer you.
What this MCP server does
You keep working as usual in your AI app. In the background, Graph-MIND saves each turn of the conversation word for word on your PC, with secrets like passwords masked first. Later, in a new session or a different app, you ask a question that depends on the past. Your AI sends that question to this helper, the helper searches your saved memory, and it hands back a short packet of the few old turns that answer you. Your AI reads that packet and replies.
What you can do with it
- Ask what you decided in an earlier session, even in a different app
- Pick up where you left off yesterday without re-explaining anything
- Recall a small fact you mentioned once in passing, like a pet's name
- Check what was changed in a file last week and why
- Search your past conversations by words, by meaning, or by when they happened
- Delete something you typed earlier, such as a password, from the memory
- Share your memory with your own other PCs, or hand it to someone as a file
Try asking your AI
- “Where did we leave off yesterday?”
- “Which database did we pick for the billing service, and why?”
- “What did you change in the auth middleware last week?”
- “What's my dog's name?”
What it gives back to you
You get an answer in plain chat, written by the AI you were already using. Behind the scenes the helper hands your AI a short packet of the old turns that matter, about three thousand tokens worth, not your whole history. If you ask it to delete something, it tells you it is gone. You can also export your memory to a file or view it in a 3D picture.
Before you start
What you need
- A PC running Windows, macOS, or Linux
- One or more AI apps it supports, such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, or Claude Desktop
- Nothing else: the installer brings what it needs, and no account or API key is required
Good to know
It saves your conversations on your PC, so treat that memory as private, and remember that sharing it with other PCs or teammates sends it beyond your machine.
Install it with your AI
Add Graph-MIND memory server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Graph-MIND memory server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,609 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who use coding agents or AI chat apps every day and want one memory that follows them across apps, models, and their own computers.
