EasyAccessPDF MCP server
by luotwo
Check PDF accessibility, auto-fix tagged PDFs, and turn documents into Markdown from your AI chat.

EasyAccessPDF is an online service that checks whether a PDF is accessible and can clean it up for you. This MCP server connects that service to your AI assistant, so you can ask in plain words and get results back in the chat. It is handy if you deal with documents, reports, or forms and need them to work for screen readers or meet accessibility rules.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to EasyAccessPDF, a hosted service that reads and repairs documents. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI to check a PDF or convert a file, and it will pass the job to EasyAccessPDF for you.
What this MCP server does
You give your AI a link to a document that is online and public. Your AI sends that link to the EasyAccessPDF helper, which forwards it to the service in the EU. The service reads the file, does the job you asked for (convert, export, check, or fix), and sends the result back. Your AI then shows you the result in the chat, like a Markdown version of the document or a list of accessibility problems. For fixes, you get a download link that stays valid for 24 hours.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Convert a PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML, EPUB, RTF, ODT, or text file into clean Markdown
- Export a PDF as structured JSON, HTML, plain text, or an annotated PDF that shows the layout
- Run a veraPDF PDF/UA-1 accessibility check and get a grade with a list of issues
- Auto-tag a PDF, add metadata, and re-check it to produce a fixed file plus a report
- Check your account plan, expiry date, credit balance, and current prices
- Get a 24-hour download link for fixed files and reports
Try asking your AI
- “Check this PDF for accessibility problems: https://example.com/report.pdf”
- “Convert this Word document to Markdown: https://example.com/notes.docx”
- “Export this PDF as HTML so I can read it in a browser: https://example.com/manual.pdf”
- “Fix the accessibility issues in this PDF and give me the download link: https://example.com/form.pdf”
What it gives back to you
You get answers right in the chat. A check comes back as a grade (A, B, C, or F), the number of pages, and a list of issues with tag coverage. A conversion comes back as Markdown text, and an export comes back as JSON, HTML, or plain text. A fix gives you a download link for a zip file with the tagged PDF, a report, and a checklist for manual review.
Before you start
What you need
- A free EasyAccessPDF account (sign up and verify your email)
- An MCP Membership ($19.90 for 32 days) for conversions, exports, and checks
- Remediation credits for the fix tool (1 credit per document, around $2.99 each or less in packs)
- An application password from your EasyAccessPDF profile, turned into a Basic token
Good to know
The fix tool costs 1 credit per document, so every fix spends money on your account, and your Basic token can spend your credits if someone else gets it.
