Glyphic MCP server
by MS-Teja
Lets your AI turn a plain description into a clean diagram, like a flowchart or org chart, right in the chat.

Glyphic is a helper that draws diagrams for you. You describe what you want in normal words, and your AI writes out the structure behind it, then Glyphic turns that into a finished picture. It is handy if you ever need a flowchart, a database diagram, or a project timeline but do not want to fight with a drawing tool.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another tool. This one connects your AI to Glyphic, a diagram maker. So when you ask for a diagram, your AI hands the details to Glyphic, and Glyphic draws it for you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI for a diagram in plain words, like an org chart or a flowchart. Your AI turns your request into a structured list of boxes and arrows. It passes that list to this helper, Glyphic. Glyphic works out the layout and draws the picture. Then the finished diagram comes back to you in the chat.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Draw a flowchart from a process you describe
- Create a database diagram (ERD) with tables and links
- Make an architecture diagram of your systems
- Build a Gantt chart or timeline for a project
- Sketch a mindmap or a sequence diagram
- Get the diagram as an image file (SVG or PNG)
Try asking your AI
- “Draw an ERD for a blog with users, posts, and comments.”
- “Make a flowchart for our customer support process.”
- “Create an architecture diagram of our web app, API, and database.”
- “Build a Gantt chart for a 3 month website redesign project.”
What it gives back to you
You get a finished diagram, shown right in the chat. It can come as a scalable image (SVG) or a high quality picture (PNG). If you are a developer, it can also give back the underlying structure as data. Either way, you see the picture and can save or share it.
Before you start
What you need
- An AI app that supports MCP servers, like Claude Desktop or Cursor
- Node.js installed on your computer (the free program that runs this helper)
Good to know
It only draws diagrams from the details you give it, so if your description is vague the picture may not match what you had in mind.
Install it with your AI
Add Glyphic MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Glyphic MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
Anyone who needs a quick diagram, like project managers, analysts, developers, and students, without opening a drawing tool.
