by nguyenvanduocit

Connect your AI to Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Gmail, Calendar, YouTube and web search in one helper.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “What is the status of ticket KP-2 and who is on it?”, the All-in-One MCP server reaches Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Gmail, Calendar and Web search, and you get back A plain answer in your chat.

This is a single helper program that gives your AI many new skills at once: your work tickets, your team wiki, your code projects, your email, your calendar, and web search. It is handy if you work in a company that uses tools like Jira, Confluence or GitLab and you want your AI to look things up or do small tasks for you. Note that the project has been split into smaller pieces, but this combined version still works.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that runs on your computer and gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app. This server connects your AI to services like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Gmail and Google Calendar, so when you ask a question the AI can go and look things up there or make changes for you. You stay in the chat; the helper does the running around.

What this MCP server does

You type a request in plain words, like asking about a ticket or your next meeting. Your AI reads your request and decides which skill from this helper fits. The helper then talks to the right service, for example Jira or Confluence, using the login details you set up. It brings the answer back and your AI shows it to you in the chat. For some tasks it can also make changes, like creating a ticket or sending a message.

What you can do with it

  • Look up a Jira ticket and tell you its status, assignee and description
  • Search your Confluence wiki and read or create pages
  • List GitLab merge requests, commits and pipelines for a project
  • Search your Gmail and manage filters and labels
  • List and create events in your Google Calendar
  • Search the web for fresh information using Google AI search
  • Fetch the text content of any web page by its link

Try asking your AI

  • “What is the status of ticket KP-2 and who is working on it?”
  • “Show me the open merge requests in the payments project on GitLab”
  • “Search Confluence for our onboarding guide and summarize it”
  • “What meetings do I have next week?”

What it gives back to you

You get answers in plain text in the chat: ticket details, page summaries, lists of merge requests or commits, calendar events, and search results. When it creates or changes something, it tells you what it did, like the new ticket key or the event it added. Everything shows up as a normal chat reply, so you can keep asking follow-up questions.

Before you start

What you need

  • Go 1.23.2 or higher installed on your computer
  • Login details and tokens for each service you want to use, like a GitLab token or Atlassian email and token
  • A Google account setup file if you want Gmail, Calendar or Google Chat
  • API keys for the AI search and reasoning tools, like a Google AI key or OpenAI key

Good to know

This helper can change real things in your work tools, like creating tickets, editing wiki pages, sending chat messages and deleting Gmail filters, so check before you let it make changes.
