Presentations.AI MCP server
by slidecraft-in · official
Let your AI build and edit slide decks for you, then export them as PPTX, PDF, images or a share link.

This is the official helper that connects your AI assistant to Presentations.AI, a service that designs slide decks for you. Once it is connected, you can ask your AI for a presentation on any topic and get real slides back, not just an outline. It is handy for anyone who has to put decks together but does not enjoy fiddling with layouts and colors.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. It cannot reach out to other apps or services. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI a new skill or a connection, and this one connects it to Presentations.AI. So when you ask for a deck, your AI passes the request to Presentations.AI, which designs the slides and sends them back to your chat.
What this MCP server does
You tell your AI what you need, for example a deck about a topic, a set of notes, or a document you already have. The AI sends that to this helper, which talks to Presentations.AI. Presentations.AI designs the slides and prepares the file. Then you get the result back in your chat, ready to download or share.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Build a full slide deck from a topic or a short brief
- Turn an article, notes or a transcript into slides
- Make a deck from a PDF, Word, PowerPoint, text or Markdown file
- Create a single designed slide on a topic
- Check on a longer job while it is still running
- Export your deck as PPTX, PDF, images or a share link
Try asking your AI
- “Make me a 10 slide deck about our Q3 marketing results”
- “Turn this article into a presentation for my team meeting”
- “Create a deck from the attached PDF and export it as PPTX”
- “Make one slide introducing our new product”
What it gives back to you
You get slides back, not just text. Depending on what you ask for, that can be a finished deck, a single slide image, or an export file like PPTX or PDF. If the job takes a while, your AI can check on it and tell you when it is done, and you can also get a shareable link to send to others.

Good to know
It creates and exports files in your Presentations.AI account, so check the result before sharing it with others.
Install it with your AI

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Presentations.AI MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
Anyone who has to make slide decks often, like managers, consultants, teachers, salespeople and students, and would rather describe the deck than build it slide by slide.
