emem MCP server
by Vortx-AI
Lets your AI look up signed facts about real places, like elevation, water and vegetation, with receipts you can check.

emem is a helper that gives your AI access to measured facts about the real world: how high a spot is, what covers the land, where water sits, how much vegetation grows there. It is handy if you ask your AI questions about places and want answers you can actually check instead of guesses. You do not need to be technical to try it.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to emem, a service that keeps signed facts about places on Earth. When you ask about a location, your AI asks emem, and emem hands back a fact with a receipt you can verify.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question about a place, for example what the vegetation is like near a mountain. Your AI turns that into a lookup and sends it to emem. emem finds the matching spot on the map, reads the measurement from its archives, and signs the result. Your AI shows you the answer along with a receipt. You or anyone else can check that receipt later to confirm the number has not been changed.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Look up elevation, land cover, water and vegetation at a place
- Get a signed receipt for every number so you can verify it
- Ask about an area and get facts across many spots at once
- Hand a bundle of facts to another person or AI in one short line
- Check whether a number your AI wrote matches the fact it cites
- Find out when emem looked and found nothing, and why
Try asking your AI
- “What is the elevation at Trafalgar Square in London?”
- “How much vegetation is there near Mount Fuji right now?”
- “Is there surface water within a kilometre of this address?”
- “Show me the land cover around this farm and give me the receipts”
What it gives back to you
You get a short answer in the chat, like a number with its unit and the place it applies to. Alongside it comes a receipt, which is a small block of text you can paste into a verifier page to confirm the fact is genuine. For area questions you get a list of facts, one per spot. If emem found nothing, you get a signed note saying so and why.
