TaskBullet MCP server

by GriffMurder · official

Let your AI hand off phone calls and small errands to a real human assistant, then track the results.

This is a connector that lets your AI assistant ask a real person to make a phone call or run a small errand for it. You stay in charge: your AI checks the cost with you first, and you approve before anything happens. It is handy if you use ChatGPT or Claude for work and sometimes need something done that a chatbot simply cannot do, like calling a dentist or a supplier.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to TaskBullet, a service where real human assistants take on tasks. Once it is connected, your AI can ask TaskBullet to place a call or file a job, and then check back on how it went.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like calling a dentist to book an appointment. Your AI uses this helper to check your balance and the cost first, and it confirms the spend with you. Then it sends the request to TaskBullet, where a real person makes the call and writes up what happened. Your AI can then check the status and bring the answer back to you in the chat.

What you can do with it

  • Place a real phone call to a US or Canada number and get the answers back
  • Check your balance and how much a call or task will cost before you approve
  • Delegate a small errand or research job to a human assistant
  • Track a task or call until it is finished
  • Accept, cancel, or send back a finished task
  • Read a short written summary of what was said on a call

Try asking your AI

  • “Call the dentist and book me the earliest appointment next Tuesday after 1pm. The office is Bright Smile Dental at (801) 555-0148. Ask which times they have, book one, and bring back the time and any confirmation number. Confirm the hold with me before you place the call. Do not record it.”
  • “Call Northwind Supply at (415) 555-0199 and check order NW-10442. Ask whether it shipped, the carrier, and the tracking number. Confirm the hold with me before you place the call. US number, no recording.”
  • “Call Harbor Grill at (206) 555-0177 and confirm the reservation for Alex Chen, party of 4, this Friday at 7:00pm. Ask them to say the name, time, and party size back. Confirm the hold with me before you place the call. Do not record it.”
  • “Check my TaskBullet balance and tell me what a five minute call would cost.”

What it gives back to you

You get answers in the chat, like the appointment time, a tracking number, or a short summary of what the person on the phone said. You can also see the status of a task, whether it is waiting, done, or cancelled, and your current balance. If a call needs more information, your AI will ask you for it.

Before you start

What you need

  • A TaskBullet account
  • An API key from TaskBullet (a kind of password for apps; you create it in your dashboard and it is shown once)
  • Money in your TaskBullet wallet to pay for calls and tasks
  • A US or Canada phone number for the person or business you want called

Good to know

This spends real money from your TaskBullet wallet, so always check the cost and approve before your AI places a call or files a task, and never put passwords or one-time codes in a request.

Install it with your AI

Add TaskBullet MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check TaskBullet MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,609 MCP servers here for you.
