Zuuna MCP server
by kenzotp · official
Let your AI read and update your Zuuna boards, cards and comments for you.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Zuuna, a project management tool with boards and cards. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI to look at your board, add a card, move a card or leave a comment, and it will do it in Zuuna for you. It is handy if you already plan your work on a Zuuna board and want your AI to help keep it tidy.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app, here to Zuuna. Once this helper is connected, your AI can look things up on your Zuuna boards and make changes there when you ask. You do not have to open Zuuna yourself; you just tell your AI what you want.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something about your Zuuna work, like what is on a board or what a card says. Your AI passes that request to this helper. The helper talks to Zuuna using a special key you give it, called an API token. Zuuna sends back the answer, and your AI shows it to you in the chat. If you asked for a change, like moving a card or adding a comment, the helper makes that change in Zuuna and tells you it is done.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List your boards and see what is on them
- Read a card and its comments, checklist and attachments
- Create new cards or add several at once
- Move a card to another column or another board
- Leave a comment on a card
- Log time on a card or start and stop a timer
- Search your cards for a word or a card key
Try asking your AI
- “Show me everything on my Marketing board”
- “Add a card called Update the pricing page to the To Do column”
- “What is the status of card ZNA-2001 and does it have any comments?”
- “Move ZNA-2001 to Done and leave a comment saying the fix is live”
What it gives back to you
You get answers written in plain words in the chat, based on what Zuuna sends back. That can be a list of boards, the details of a card, its comments or its checklist. When you ask for a change, the AI tells you what it changed, like which card moved and where. For very large boards, the AI may tell you there are more cards and ask if you want the next page.
Before you start
What you need
- A Zuuna account and a workspace
- An API token from Zuuna (a kind of password for apps; you create it in your Zuuna settings and choose what it is allowed to do)
- Node.js installed on your computer if you use the npx route
- The Claude Code, Cursor or Codex app, or another AI tool that supports MCP servers
Good to know
Some actions can change or delete things on your board, so give your token only the permissions you are comfortable with and check what the AI is about to do before you say yes.
Install it with your AI
Add Zuuna MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Zuuna MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who plan their work on a Zuuna board and want their AI assistant to read and update it for them, especially developers and small teams.
