RAE Dictionary MCP server
by rae-api-com
Look up Spanish words and meanings straight from the official Royal Spanish Academy dictionary.

This is a small connector that lets your AI assistant talk to the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) dictionary. You just ask questions about Spanish words, and behind the scenes it fetches real definitions instead of guessing. Handy if you work with Spanish texts, translate documents, or check spelling and meaning during writing tasks.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat based on what it already learned while training. An MCP server is a little helper program running somewhere that hands your AI a brand-new ability whenever needed. This particular helper connects your AI to the RAE online dictionary. So now, when you ask "What does 'efímero' really mean?", your AI goes out through this helper, grabs the answer from the actual academy resource, and tells you right away.
What this MCP server does
When you request something about a Spanish term, your AI sends that question to this helper along with any details such as the target language. The helper calls the RAE lookup system, waits for results, then passes everything back into the conversation. Your AI turns those raw entries into readable explanations inside the chat window. If more than one sense exists, both senses come back together so you see how wide the usage runs.
