SearXNG MCP server
Let your AI search the web through your own SearXNG search page.
This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to a search engine called SearXNG. SearXNG is a free search page you can run yourself, and it gathers results from many search engines without tracking you. If you already use SearXNG, this lets your AI search the web through it when you ask.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to a SearXNG search page, so the AI can look things up on the web for you. You ask a question, and the AI quietly uses this helper to go search.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something that needs fresh information, like a recent news topic or a fact you want checked. The AI uses this helper to send your search words to your SearXNG page. SearXNG runs the search and sends the results back. The AI then reads those results and writes an answer for you in the chat. You never have to open a browser or copy links around yourself.

What it gives back to you
