OperatorNest MCP server
by OperatorNest
Your AI can work out API costs, shared meeting times, recurring schedules and cron run times for you.
This is a small helper that gives your AI a set of everyday calculator skills for work planning. It works out what AI API calls cost, finds meeting times that suit several people in different time zones, adds up your subscription bills, builds recurring schedules and shows when a cron job will next run. It is handy for anyone who plans budgets, meetings or automated tasks and wants quick answers without opening a spreadsheet.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to OperatorNest's set of cost and scheduling calculators. So when you ask a question about prices or times, your AI can send the numbers to this helper, get a proper calculation back, and explain the answer to you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like how much a month of API calls would cost, or when a group of people in different cities could meet. Your AI passes the details to this helper. The helper runs the calculation using its own bundled price list and time zone data, without calling out to the internet. Then it hands the result back, with the units, the method, the assumptions and a link where you can open the same result on the OperatorNest website.
What you can do with it
- Work out the cost of AI API calls from token counts and a model name
- Find shared 30-minute meeting slots for 2 to 8 people across time zones
- Add up monthly and yearly totals for a stack of AI subscriptions
- Turn a recurring schedule into monthly hours and a calendar file
- Show the next runs of a cron expression in several common formats
- See the assumptions and sources behind each result
Try asking your AI
- “How much would 2 million input tokens and 500 thousand output tokens cost per month on gpt-4o?”
- “Find a 30-minute slot between 9am and 5pm for people in London, New York and Singapore next Tuesday”
- “Add up my monthly AI subscriptions: ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro and Copilot”
- “When does the cron expression 0 9 * * 1-5 next run in the GitHub format, starting from tomorrow in UTC?”
What it gives back to you
You get a clear answer in the chat: a number in dollars, a list of possible meeting times, a monthly hours figure, or the next few cron run times. Each result also comes with the units used, the method, the assumptions behind it, and a link to open the same result on the OperatorNest site. Nothing is changed or created anywhere; these are estimates and previews only.
Before you start
Good to know
The results are estimates based on a price list frozen in September 2026, so taxes, regional prices and promotions are not included.
