GoHireHumans MCP server
Let your AI find and hire real people for small tasks it cannot finish on its own.
GoHireHumans is a marketplace where you can find real people to do small jobs, like checking something by hand or finishing a task software cannot do alone. This MCP server lets your AI assistant search that marketplace and, if you allow it, post jobs and hire workers for you. It is handy if you use ChatGPT or Claude for work and sometimes need a human to step in.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to GoHireHumans, so it can look up services, compare workers, and check open jobs for you. When you ask, it can also post a job or hire someone, but only if you have set up your account key first.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like find me someone to review these 50 product photos. The AI uses this helper to search the GoHireHumans marketplace for services and workers that match. The helper talks to GoHireHumans and brings back listings with skills, ratings, and prices. If you have connected your account, the AI can also post a job, hire a worker, check an order, approve finished work, or leave a review. You see the results right in your chat.
What you can do with it
- Search for services by task, category, or price
- Compare workers by skill, rating, and price
- Browse open jobs and service categories
- Check platform fees and how the marketplace works
- Post a job for a small task
- Hire a worker for a task
- Track an order and approve completed work
Try asking your AI
- “Find me a worker who can transcribe a 20 minute audio file under 30 dollars”
- “What services are available for data cleanup and what do they cost”
- “Post a job for someone to verify 100 addresses by hand”
- “Show me the status of my last order”
What it gives back to you
You get back lists of services and workers with their skills, ratings, and prices, or details about a single listing. If you post a job or hire someone, you get a confirmation and an order status you can check later. When you approve work, you get a note that the payment was released. Everything shows up as normal chat text and lists.
Before you start
What you need
- Python 3.9 or newer and the uv tool installed
- An MCP client like Claude Desktop or Cursor
- A GoHireHumans account and an API key or auth token if you want to post jobs or hire (browsing works without one)
Good to know
Hiring and approving payments spend real money and need your account key, so only connect it when you are ready to authorize those actions.
