TickTick MCP server
Let your AI read and manage your TickTick tasks, projects, tags, habits and focus sessions for you.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to your TickTick account. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI in plain words to add tasks, check what is due, or tick things off, and it does it in TickTick for you. It is handy if you live in TickTick all day and want to stop clicking around.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to TickTick, so it can look up your tasks and projects and make changes there when you ask. You set it up once, and after that your AI just uses it quietly in the background.
What this MCP server does
You type a request in your AI chat, like asking what is due today or telling it to add a task. Your AI passes that request to this helper program. The helper then talks to TickTick using your account, either through the official TickTick connection or the web one, depending on what is needed. TickTick sends the answer back, and your AI shows it to you in the chat. If you asked for a change, like completing a task, the helper makes that change in your TickTick account.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List your tasks, including what is due today or this week
- Create new tasks with dates, tags and priorities
- Complete, update, move or delete tasks, one or many at once
- Search your tasks by text
- Manage projects, folders and kanban columns
- Create, rename, merge or delete tags
- Check in habits and see your streaks and check-in history
- Look at your focus and pomodoro stats and productivity numbers
Try asking your AI
- “What tasks do I have due today?”
- “Create a task to call John tomorrow at 2pm”
- “Mark the grocery shopping task as complete”
- “What is my current streak for the Exercise habit?”
- “Show me my high priority tasks”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in the chat, usually as a tidy list or a short summary. For example, asking what is due today gives you a list of task names with their dates and priorities. When you ask it to change something, it tells you what it did, like which task it completed or created. Some tools also give back numbers, such as your productivity score or focus time by tag.
