JANCTION Render MCP server

by JasmyLab-JANCTION

Render Blender scenes, 3D models and turntables on cloud GPUs, straight from your AI chat.

JANCTION Render is a cloud service that renders Blender scenes and 3D files for you on fast remote computers. You connect it to your AI once, then just ask your AI to make a preview, a turntable video or a finished animation. It is handy for anyone who works with 3D models but does not have a powerful computer or Blender installed.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat and write text. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to JANCTION Render, a cloud render farm. So when you ask for a picture or a video of a 3D scene, your AI can send the job there and bring the result back to you.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI to render something, for example a Blender scene or a 3D model file. Your AI passes that request to the JANCTION Render helper, which sends the file to JANCTION's cloud GPUs. Blender runs there, not on your computer. A few seconds later you get a small preview image, plus a note about anything wrong, like the scene being too dark. Once you are happy, you can ask for the full render and get back image files or an MP4 video.

What you can do with it

  • Preview a Blender scene or 3D model before committing to a full render
  • Render a finished animation as an MP4 video
  • Make a 360-degree turntable video of a model
  • Create four product shots of a model as PNG images
  • Get an estimate of time and cost before the final render
  • Check on a render job that is still running
  • Download the finished images or video

Try asking your AI

  • “Render a preview of this Blender scene and tell me if the lighting looks right”
  • “Make a 360-degree turntable video of my model.glb”
  • “Give me four product shots of this model on a transparent background”
  • “Render frames 1 to 48 of this scene as an MP4 and show me the estimate first”

What it gives back to you

You get back a short answer in the chat, often with a link to the preview image or the finished file. Previews come back in seconds as pictures. Final renders come back as PNG images or an MP4 video you can download. If something is wrong with the scene, you also get a plain note about the problem and the code to fix it.

Before you start

What you need

  • A free account key, which is created for you when you connect (no sign-up needed to start)
  • The Claude or ChatGPT app, or a coding tool like Claude Code or Cursor
  • A 3D file such as .blend, .glb, .fbx, .usd, .obj or .stl, or a link to one
  • A card on file only if you want to keep rendering after the free welcome credit runs out

Good to know

Final renders cost money from your prepaid credit, so check the estimate before you start one, and remember that your uploaded files and results are deleted after a while.

Install it with your AI

Add JANCTION Render MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check JANCTION Render MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,361 MCP servers here for you.
