Keepsake MCP server
by nicolascroce
Connect your AI to Keepsake so it can look up contacts, log interactions, and manage your tasks and notes.

Keepsake is a personal CRM, a place to keep track of the people in your life and how you stay in touch with them. This MCP server connects your AI assistant to your Keepsake account, so you can ask it about your contacts, tasks and notes in plain words. It is handy if you already use Keepsake and want to skip clicking around the app.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app. This one connects your AI to Keepsake, your personal CRM. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI to look things up or make changes in Keepsake, and it will do that for you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something about your contacts, tasks or notes. The AI passes your request to this helper, which talks to your Keepsake account. Keepsake sends back the answer, like who you last spoke to or which tasks are overdue. The AI then shows you the result in the chat, and if you asked it to change something, it makes that change in Keepsake.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Look up a contact and see your recent interactions with them
- Log a new interaction, like a call or a meeting
- Create, complete or snooze a task
- Write a quick note and attach tags to it
- Search across all your Keepsake data at once
- See today's tasks and what is overdue
- Set your intention or question for the day
Try asking your AI
- “Who did I last talk to at Acme Corp?”
- “Add a note that I ran into Sarah at the conference”
- “What tasks are overdue?”
- “Create a follow-up task for my meeting with John next week”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in the chat: lists of contacts, tasks or notes, short summaries, or a confirmation that something was created or changed. For example, if you ask about overdue tasks, your AI shows you the list with titles and dates. If you ask it to add a note, it tells you the note was saved. Every change also shows up in an Activity Feed inside Keepsake, so you can check what was done.
Before you start
What you need
- A Keepsake account (sign up at keepsake.place)
- An API key from Keepsake (go to Account > API Keys to generate one; it starts with ksk_)
- An AI assistant that supports MCP, like Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor
Good to know
It can create, change and delete things in your Keepsake account, so check the Activity Feed if you want to confirm what your AI did.
