Fizzy MCP server
by davegomez
Lets your AI manage your Fizzy kanban boards, cards, comments and checklists for you.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Fizzy, the kanban task app. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI in plain words to look at your boards, add cards, or tick off checklist items. It is handy if you live in Fizzy all day and want to skip the clicking.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a little helper program that gives your AI a new skill, in this case a connection to Fizzy. You install it once, give it your Fizzy token, and from then on your AI can look things up and make changes in Fizzy when you ask. Think of it as giving your assistant a key to your task board.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something about your Fizzy work, like what is on your board or to add a new card. The AI passes that request to this helper, which talks to Fizzy using your account token. Fizzy sends back the boards, cards, comments or checklist steps, and the AI turns them into a normal answer in the chat. If you ask it to change something, like add a comment or complete a step, the helper makes that change in Fizzy and tells you it is done.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List your Fizzy boards and their columns
- Search cards by tag, assignee, date or free text
- Open a card and read its full details
- Create a new card on a board with a title and description
- Update a card, move it to a column, or add and remove tags
- Add, edit or delete comments on a card
- Create, complete or delete checklist steps on a card
Try asking your AI
- “List my Fizzy boards.”
- “Show me all open cards assigned to me this week.”
- “Create a card called Update the pricing page on the Marketing board.”
- “Add a comment to card 42 saying the design is approved.”
What it gives back to you
You get normal chat answers built from your Fizzy data: lists of boards or cards, the details of a single card, or a short confirmation when something was created or changed. Search results come back as a list of cards with a note about whether there are more pages. When you add a comment or complete a step, the AI tells you what it did and shows the updated item.
Before you start

Good to know
